About The Windmill

Formerly known as Buttrums Mill Healing Centre, this complementary health centre has been established since 1996 in the building adjoining Woodbridge’s fine old windmill, just off Burkitt Road.

Conveniently near both the town and the A12, the clinic is therefore within easy reach of Woodbridge town centre, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Aldeburgh and surrounding areas. The centre has car-parking and wheelchair access.

Go to the Buttrum’s Mill website for a history of the mill and visiting information.

About Us

In this peaceful setting, a range of therapies is on offer, together with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Working together like a co-operative, we look to provide the time and compassion for treating each individual as a whole. We aim to bring about a sense of focus, balance and self-worth, enabling a return to health and well-being.

The friendly, supportive approach of the centre creates a relaxed environment in which the well-being of our clients is paramount. As therapists, we work together as a team, understanding and supporting each other’s work, exchanging ideas and treatments. In this way we are able to know and recommend our colleagues and advise our clients on the approach which will suit them best. Knowing which therapy may be the most suitable can sometimes be confusing and with this in mind our therapists are happy to take the time to guide clients toward the most appropriate treatment.

Because we are a small centre, the best way to contact us initially is by leaving a message on our answer phone. We will call you back as soon as we are able, to answer your queries, make your appointment or send you information. Alternatively, you can email us with your query.

A Centre For All Ages

Here at the Windmill we have experience of working with all ages, from the very young to the very old. Some of our therapists work with babies and children, and so can offer gentle, natural help with such problems as colic, unsettled babies and toddlers, infections, vaccination issues, phobias, learning difficulties, etc.

At the other end of the age spectrum, there is much than can be done to alleviate many of the symptoms of getting older, such asĀ aches and pains, back problems, headaches, sleep problems and digestion.

And all stages in life in between – there are the inevitable challenges, life events, injuries, losses and entanglements. We can offer support: Body, mind, soul and spirit
