Having had a wonderfully varied career which took me to many parts of the world, I was amazed when I discovered the healing power of complementary therapies. I knew almost immediately that this was where my future path would lie.
Initially I trained in Holistic Massage and then took 18 months out to travel the world, giving and receiving massages along the way and learning much in the process. Five months volunteering at a street clinic in Calcutta was probably my biggest learning experience.
When I returned, I qualified in Reflexology and also studied Holistic Foot Massage, a very gentle treatment, most suited to help in convalescence and with emotional or stress-related problems.
In 1997 I qualified in Craniosacral Therapy, an exceptionally gentle treatment, suitable for all ages, even newborns. A craniosacral treatment is a blissfully relaxing experience, taking you simply and naturally to a deep level of being.
